Local Author Events
One of the things I hadn’t expected when I started writing was for my books to bring me closer to my community. But through working with libraries near me, specifically Pickering Public Library, and Ajax Public Library, I’ve been able to be part of several amazing community events. Below are a few. I wanted to especially highlight the Black Excellence Event at Pickering Library in March of this year. From tales of Anansi the Spider to teaching the audience how to dance, it was a truly great experience. You can read my full post about it here:

Thanks again to Joseph Donato and Pickering Library for having me. And shoutout to local libraries everywhere for doing their best to bring their communities together.
