I’M GOING ON TOUR!

I am thrilled to announce that this summer I will be embarking on my first tour! I am calling it The Felix I.D. Dimaro This is not Quite a World Tour but I’ll Get There Someday Tour. Or the Not Quite World Tour for short. I will briefly be in Alberta before spending the summer and fall all over the Greater Toronto Area. So far, there are twelve stops along the tour but I am expecting to add more, particularly in October and November. So stay tuned for updates. Below is a quick breakdown of the events and links to their respective pages. I hope to see you along the way.

INDIGO AND CHAPTERS APPEARANCES

For those of you who aren’t from Canada, Indigo is the equivalent of America’s Barnes & Noble, or Waterstones in the UK (and that is the extent of my international bookstore knowledge). It’s the bookstore that bought out the bookstores of my youth (shoutout to Coles and Chapters), and it is where I had my first (and second) book signing. So, I’m pleased to be able to say that I will be signing books at half a dozen Indigo/Chapters stores throughout the summer and fall.

  • Sunday, July 20 - Indigo, South Common, Edmonton, Alberta

  • Friday, August 22 - Chapters, Ajax, Ontario

  • Saturday, October 4 - Indigo, Oshawa, Ontario

  • Saturday, October 18 - Chapters, Vega Boulevard, Mississauga, Ontario

  • Sunday, October 19 - Indigo, Erin Mills, Mississauga, Ontario

  • Saturday, October 25 - Indigo, Square One, Mississauga, Ontario

There may be more Indigo/Chapters dates added along the way. I shall keep you abreast of any updates.

VAUGHAN CON

Vaughan, Ontario
Saturday, August, 9
10am - 5pm
Sunday, August,10
10am - 5pm

As a lifelong wrestling fan and comic book nerd, Vaughan Con sounds like a little slice of heaven. This will be my first time at the event, but I’ve heard great things. There will be a ton of activities, vendors, food trucks, cosplay contests, entertainment, and celebrity guests, featuring the one and only Bret "The Hitman" Hart, who is scheduled to appear on Sunday, August 10. I’m very much looking forward to being in the same building as one of the best there ever was (and ever will be).

GOTH BEACH PARTY MARKET

Toronto, Ontario
Saturday, August 16
11am - 5pm

Who doesn’t love a good book at the beach? That’s the attitude I’m hoping attendees of the Toronto Goth Beach Party Market will have when they see me there with my collection of horrors. I have never been to an event of this nature, and, somehow, I haven’t done a market in downtown Toronto. I’m looking forward to changing that while meeting a new audience and connecting with readers in my city. Also, perhaps most importantly, there will be a bar.

BRAMPTON COMICON

Brampton, Ontario
Sunday, August 24
10am - 3pm

If you’re in Southern Ontario, it’s likely that Pop Culture Canada has or will be hosting a Comicon near you. They tour all year with dates in over forty cities. And it doesn’t just stop with the comics and costumes, Pop Culture Canada also partners with GCW (Great Canadian Wrestling) to host professional wrestling matches after their comicons. So, if you’re in the mood for an afternoon of comics, costumes, and nerd culture, and an evening of wrasslin’, come out to Bramalea Lions Hall in Brampton on August 24.

CANADIAN PET EXPO

Mississauga, Ontario
Saturday, September 13
10 am - 5pm
Sunday, September 14
10am - 4pm

There is no upcoming event I’m more excited about than the Canadian Pet Expo. If you’re wondering why a dark fiction author would be at a pet convention, it’s because I have published two cat-related horror books inspired by the loss of my poor, sweet, dead cat, Cat (pictured below): Humane Sacrifice, and In the Darkness, Eyes and Teeth.

Pet lovers tend to appreciate these two books, which deal with handling the loss of a pet in fun, heartfelt, yet unhinged kinds of ways. That aside, there will be tens of thousands of people and pets in attendance, and I get to be surrounded by those furry (and scaly) little creatures for an entire weekend! Click the link below to learn more about this epic event (and to see photos of all the beautiful animals). Click the covers above to learn more about each book.

In August, I will be having a giveaway which will include two free tickets to the Canadian Pet Expo. Subscribe to my newsletter to be alerted for your chance to win.

THE FANTASY FORUM

London, Ontario
Saturday, September 20, 2025
10am - 11pm

If you’re a fan of fantasy, crafts, trivia, books in general, and all around good times, you’ll want to join me at the Fantasy Forum in London, Ontario on September 20. I will be speaking on a panel (topic to be determined), and I’m looking forward to interacting with many readers and authors in what should be a fun and relaxed atmosphere. This inaugural daylong event is brought to you by Wilderland Paper and Dead Trees & Ink.

THE TORONTO HALLOWEEN SHOW

Toronto, Ontario
Saturday, September 27
11am - 7pm
Sunday, September 28
11am - 6pm

What better way to kick off the Spooky Season than with a weekend long celebration of all things Halloween? The second annual Toronto Halloween Show will be taking place in the Queen Elizabeth Building at Exhibition Place in downtown Toronto. There will be costumes, a magic show, an escape room, a haunted walk, and more. And it is kid friendly. I will be amongst the fifty vendors that will be in attendance, perhaps in a costume of my own. Click the flyer below for additional details, and tickets.
